Desire to do something or pray
It makes me want to pray for someone’s feelings to be healed, comforted, or made better.
These feelings are due to the person’s kindness and overflowing love to take care of someone (compassion). It has the potential to help someone else, but often also includes a bit of “wanting to be forgiven” or “wanting a place to belong.
If you allow too much of someone, you may destroy their potential, depending on who you are dealing with. It can also cause unnecessary conflict and misunderstandings, which can come back to haunt you.
If a person’s heart, which is very tender in the moment, stirs up someone else’s heart, it is no different from creating a situation that results in harm.
You may feel a little off when you do so, but by disciplining your feelings, you can limit the misunderstandings and miscommunications with those around you. So it makes you reflect on the situation.

As you do this repeatedly, you will be able to look at yourself from a greater distance and see if that desire to heal and support is true kindness.
