Want to be strong and firm

COTA

We often say, “I want to be strong. But to what is this “strong” referring? If it is said in relation to others, it may mean that we want to make things work the way we want them to, even if it means taking away other people’s feelings and place in the world.

That’s how you impose your suffering on others. That is why that person will always be “weak”.

So what is the ideal way to be “firm” in how you accept things? It is being able to accept your failures and failures straight up. This will ease the minds of others you come in contact with and lead them in the direction of accepting you. And it also helps you gain their trust. And don’t be conceited about being strong.

To begin with, what is strong in itself depends on each person. Even if you were to gain “strength” as you call it, if you were intoxicated by your strength, it would be appalling in the minds of others. It could eventually lead to an unstoppable exchange of hatred. In the meantime, your lifespan will run out.

I believe that we naturally become stronger by accepting, absorbing, and sometimes giving up various things in the time we live and die, rather than seeking strength and weakness through horizontal connections with others, friends, and family.
